in the autumn of 1989, Margiela’s third show took place in a playground in a neighborhood in the outskirts of Paris. the local kids were invited to sit in the front row, where they spontaneously started to play with the models.
“Every year, on the Midsummer Night, Magdalena came alone to the river,
in a place where a few years ago the fragments of clothes of her beloved
